Hi, when I arrived a the hostel my reservation was not there! i had to take a taxi a 1 am trying to find another one!!!!

the location is perfect for old panama, easy to find with a taxi from the airport. we got what we paid for and loved it.
the architecture in the area was worth being around. and the other visitors were helpful. one problem was finding prepared coffee in the morning but that seems to be my challenge this whole trip.

I got locked out of my room at 2 am because the doorknob was broken. The staff was very helpful and good natured about it, but I think it was indicitative of the cheapness of the hostel. The hostel is very basic, but I loved the area.

The common area was very small, too small for real interaction. The staff was not friendly, not rude, but not what I've learned to expect from hostel staff. Their website volunteered out-dated information concerning taxi rates. The rooms had only overhead lights. Usually dorm rooms have some sort of inexpensive clip-on reading lamp.
