Considering this hostel is in the capital city i expected a far cleaner environment. The kitchen in particular was disgustingly dirty. I have stayed in many large hostels all around the world and this was by far the dirtiest. There was also no security during the day and generally the whole place just felt pretty gross.

Good location, just a 10 minute walk from the harbour, main shopping streets etc. 2 mins from transit centre and nearest bottle-o. good value

The private rooms with bathroom in the courtyard are very good.

Pretty clean for an old building. internet service isn't great, but the kitchen is nice and big. good location too, short walk to the harbour, salamanca place, battery point etc. would stay there again.
