Yup, quite average as you would expect. But it is quite cheap! We had no problems and actually the staff was very pleasant.

The rooms are grim but relatively clean. The breakfast area and lobby is surprisingly cosy in the mornings, full of families. Staff are very friendly altough they don't speak much english. Easy to locate from the subway station. Good for a quick stopover but not good if you're looking to meet people and party.

Nice business hotel. Very very easy to find, close to the subway and there is a big sign in english outside. Interior is bit dated but clean. Staff is very friendly.

Directions to the hotel were confusing. We were directed to walk toward a place that must meant something to locals but we had no idea. CXould have directed us toward something we could locate

No wireless internet in the rooms. Fridge should be mounted next to TV to save space for movement. No place for luggage.

Typical Hostel room. Woman at front (as said by other members) does not speak very good english, young man who comes in at nights does. Hop, skip, and jump to Ohori Park which was nice.
From Subway exit 2 at Ohorikoen Station walk straight to street and take left (heading away from park). Go straight for a couple minutes, big blue sign, can't miss it.

eventhough stuff didnt speak english much, there was no problem with communication.lady at the reception desk was super nice.smoker vs non-smoker room makes a difference.the biggest advantage was the location.it was just across the street from Ohori park and super close to major tourist atractions.thanks to previous review i found it easily.from exit2 take the first street left and walk for 3mins, look for a white board with blue signs running down.
