my rating sums this hostel up. Most of the guests will be from ADVENTURE TOURS, doing the Adelaide-Alice or Alice-Darwin trip... as well as the obvious inclusion of ULURU...a must-see... do it with MULGAS (although, you get a free night at Annies.. book here first.. then take the trip, then stay there after).. it is cheapest thru them.. approx 250, with no fuel surcharge. the hostel is a good 5-10 min walk from town.. but thats a good thing.. it gets pretty quiet... but i WAS only there one ni...More

Good location. Clean enough. Bit boring. Swimming pool tiny and was closed after advertising it at the airport on the day! Porbably not the best place to get an ensuite which is shared by 8 people in one room as all tours start same time and everyone's getting ready at once! Aircon which is good!

Cheap. clean and a good place to stay. The rooms are big and with bathroom. The staff are friendly and the internet facilities are good. Definitely I would stay here again.

we had a great time at "haven" - I think the guest kitchen could be a little bit more cleaner! Internet was pretty expensive but they had enough computers and a very nice big television. The staff was nice, especially the dark hair aussie girl. Thanks for everything!

We had no electricity during my stay, because of the storm. But you could have passed candles for the rooms too.

Staff were extremely happy and enjoyed their work, always happy to help instead of it being a chore....snake was a good touch!
