Lovely breakfast, if not for the charming table sets and the nurishing breakfast food I would not go back or recomend a stay here. It was rather expensive for the dark and dingy dormatory.

If you're staying in Reykjavik AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! We were in the 20 bed mixed dorm and I've been in such a vile and insecure place. Anyone could have wandered in during the night and stolen bags etc. The showers were an absolute disgrace also. We ended up checking in and, about 15 minutes later, walking back out and finding another hotel (Hotel Bjork) which was one million times better. Just say no to this shambles of an establishment, trust me.

The area where breakfast is served in the morning is a little tight and can be chaotic. Other than that, I was very satisfied with my stay there.

Just back from Pavi, not exciting about it. Poor breakfast, bad coffe, eggs, most things "euroshopper" quality. Small room, old fasioned, ...Next time better to pay 15 euro more but to have some comfort, (in comparison: first day we stayed in guesthouse Reykjavik Central, located downtown, payed 75 euro's, really nice modern, big en clean room while Pavi was approximately 60 euro's). For us it was not a good relation between price and quality.
