There were no towels nor bathing shampoo or soap. The room was really cold. Was expecting it from other reviews.

Such a great place!! We were very happy to come back here. The room with our own bathroom was very comfortable and Staying in an authentic Japanese style room was absolutely amazing.

This place is a dump. We think it hasnt ben dustedwiped down for ages. The tatami was cleanish, but the bedding had hairs over it. Not sure how oftren it gets laundered. The kitchen was disgusting! Food, garbage, grime and cigarette butts await your morning viewing. We decided not to make breakfast and left ASAP. Not recommended at all, unless desperate.

Hot water on shower only between 8-10 am and 20-23 pm. Free internet PC. Very quite location. I think it's the cheapest twin room with own bathroom around Kyoto, so it's good quality price

It was a great place to stay. Was in a very quiet neighborhood that was so quiet for sleeping. It is also conveniently located to central Kyoto. Much of which is in walking distance.

Kitchen very small and unclean... we didn't use it. Everything was as expected after reading other reviews. Would stay there again.
