Gram\'s Place was absolutley wonderful!!! Hostels will be my only way to stay in future travels! I felt like I was at home. The owner is like the best consiege (better than any five star hotel ). He has so many contacts, he can connect you to the best experiences. The location is centered so perfect that you can easily see & do hundreds of exciting events, sights, and tourist attractions. if you enjoy adventure or relaxation you will not regret GRAM'S PLACE!!!!!

this place is awesome. great character and proper laid back atmosphere, can't recommend it enough!

they are starting to do renovations, was obviously a good place in the past but didn't live up to the online description

We rode our bicycles in just before dark and we were a little concerned about the neighborhood. As one guy said "we are in the hood." It is a neat funky little place and they took good care of us. It was a good experience, but know that it is in a less fortunate part of town.

Hostel with strong character. It's a shame that we could not meet the owner.

Please don't ever send anyone especially a female back to that boarding house for out of work men. It looked like it was built with old two by four and tin, old bottle. The beds were wood slats connected to steel poles. The residence use profanity and slammed the door the the room I was in the whole night. I was afraid that they were going to fight or steal my stuff, ther sheets were dirty, no hot water and only a towel for your shower. This was a nightmare.

Funky little place with potential to be very cool hostel, just needs a little more TLC. you really need a car if you are staying there because its not really close to anything

Taxes were added on and the amount I had to pay at the Hostel was greater than the amount I was told to pay on your booking confirmation. It would seem your booking confirmation amout should contain all applicable taxes.
