I have been in UB for a while and stayed at 5 different hostels here and this one is by far the best. For a start they have beds that you can actually sleep in without breaking your back, they are also the only hostel with wifi. The girls running the place are great, helpful, cheery and relaxed. The Hostel itself is also the best equipped with 2 tv rooms and comfuy sofas.

AVOID BOOKING THIS HOSTEL AS THE BOOKING WILL NOT BE HONOURED. THE HOSTEL IS INTERESTED ONLY IN TRAVELLERS WHO ARRIVE AT THE DOOR WANTING TO BOOK EXPENSIVE TRIPS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE. WE MADE A BOOKING AND ON ARRIVAL WERE TOLD THAT THEY HAD NOT RECEIVED OUR BOOKING FROM HOSTELWORLD. THE OWNER COULDN'T GIVE A MONKEYS. THANKS TO HOSTELWORLD FOR REFUNDING OUR DEPOSIT, BUT DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH GOLDEN GOBI.

our stay was great- the staff especially were very helpful. We also booked a tour through the hostel and it was fantastic- after talking to other people about their tours we are so glad we went with the Gobi. It was inexpensive4 and a bit less comfortable than others, but so much fun.
