It is a wonderful place to stay, where you can have difference but better experience from that in hotels. The clean and quiet surrouding, fresh air, kind host, what most is the property is full of history and culture. If you come to Siena, please chose to stay in its countryside to enjoy the nice view and peace to your heart.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Fattoria di Cavaglioni. It is a quaint old villa with amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. Add to that the friendliness of Berenice, Anna Maria, and their family and you have a great place to stay. Located just outside of Siena in San Rocco di Pilli. Its easy to get to by bus and gives you a chance to see the countryside. The down side to the bus is dealing with large bags as it is cramped. We'd like to visit again.

Beautiful Villa owned by a freindly family, the views of the scenic tuscan countryside from every window are amazing!! Quiet, quaint, relaxing. Look forward to staying again one day!

A little far out of town, but beautiful views out over Tuscany, and an easy 30 min bus ride into town every morning. Great trattoria down the road, wonderful old building, we really enjoyed our stay there.

This is a great place to sit back and relax in the Tuscan countryside. Easy bu trip from Siena. Clean and cosy rooms and a good kitchen. Anna-Maria is an excellent host.

Perhaps a little cold...

Even though I was eaten alive by mosquitoes most of the 5 nights we stayed here, I really enjoyed my time. It was super close to the bus line, really beautiful property, and San Rocco a Pilli is a cute little town. I would recommend it, but with some OFF or something.

If you love visiting castles and old mansions this is the place for you. Full of character.

While a short 20 minute bus ride outside of Siena, you'll be glad to take the trek. This place is perfect - the character, the staff, the beauty of the countryside, the facilities, and every one we met that was also staying there was fantastic. A place we will go back to again, and again.
