Great location,staff& atmosphere! "Someone was asleep in my bed!" (miscommunication between roommates, not staff)-but staff dealt with it impressively well, polite, friendly& professional. Thankyou Polish Pete &Eugene you were great! I've read the negative reviews from here &yes internal door you must slam shut, but staff are GREAT, location FABULOUS price, VERY REASONABLE. FREE breakfast &drink. GOOD atmosphere, perfect for backpackers or weekend away.
I'll be back!

the entry door to the dorms which "needed " a passkey, could get open without it, cause the door frame was broken

Well, it has been the worst hostel I've been so far. They didnt even tell us that we couldnt sleep in the hostel the night we booked, instead of that, we had to move to another horrid building called Cricketers in which nobody was in charge of anything; even more, we were told off practically by a tough man who lives in the same room. Also, a guy warned us about some thefts that had taken place inside the rooms.

I was upset that there were no pancakes on Sunday morning even though they were advertised.

Overall it's good value for the price. However, although it was great to relax at the bar, the music was very loud in the fisrt floor bedrooms at night. Also, the hygiene was quite good in the toilets and showers, but could be improved in the bedrooms... There were chewing-gums on the bedposts, and as there was no protection on the pillow apart from the pillowcase, it was quite stained, and the mattress a bit as well. But apart from this, I have nothing to complain abouthad a very nice stay!

The beds are very bad, the douches cold, and two times out of three there was only one douche working instead of three.
