At the room there was only a bed, not a towel, not a pillow, not even a chair to put somethings on. And I booked an expensive singleroom.

All the pillows went "missing" kitchen was horrible -no clean dishes or cutlery (thankfully we had our own)sinks were backed up with filthy water, garbage all over the floor. For the largest hostel in Aus, its definitely not fit to accomodate people cleanly and comfortably. Bed bugs were reported -ended up with bites on my legs. There was always at least a 10min wait at reception -an hr when checking out. VERY poorly organized and maintained. Not recommended to even the most desperate.

The staff on reception here are slow and rude. Its the only hostel iv been in where u have 2 wait 10 mins every time u visit reception, and check in took 40 minutes! Due 2 the poor check in system (excel!) staff were placing peeps in different rooms and then all blame each other, must b poor training. The rooms are untidy and very crampted - dont go for an 8 bed, go for the 16 bed dorms as they have much more space - just bring ear plugs! The food the kitchen staff serve up is good though.

wasnt to bad... need some money as a lot of facilities require it but what can ya do.. its a place to stay

Dirty toliet and bathroom. Dirty Badroom. Many bugs are in the not clean sheet and room. Staffs workingefficienty is terrible. Check-in was long~time. Check-out is also~ In the others backpacker, if three staffs are in ter reception, all of them manage guest's ploblem. But this backpackers, Only one staff works. and his or her work is so terrible. what are the rest staffs doing? I don't know. Anyway Free breakfast is so good. that's a only merit in this hostel

Was a great place to stay and very helpful! The only down side was an English bloke they put in the room who would return back drunk every night around 4am and insisted on waking up everyone and acting the fool! This got abit grating after the 3rd4th night! But not the hostels fault!
