really relaxed, homely atmosphere. good social side but limited by the 10pm lobby closing time, though there's still no curfew.

This was a great place to stay for frienliness and character, but it was pretty dirty. The floors were filthy, the provided sheets were paper thin, very cold when weather got cold and not cutlery available to use. I would still stay again with my own sheets and slippers.

I thought the porch area could have been cleaner. The second floor porch was a disaster area. Beer bottles, wine bottles, pizza boxes, full ash trays, pop bottles on floor. Should have been inspected and cleaned is guests didn't do it. I think about Europe in particular and the disappointment I felt for the other guests. Love the idea of a hostel, too bad the owner does not instill that it the rest of the staff. Must be the money that is important.
