The majority of the other guests seemed to be permanently stoned and were smoking cannabis all day long. The staff were all very inefficient, possibly because they were also on drugs. I would not reccommend this hostel to anyone else.

Good pool and great staff. The bike hire is the best as its free and there is plenty to go round!!!

staff was nice, that was the only thing that was good about the place and the location, just on the bike 10 min and you be in Bayron Bay.

a nice hostel with some good aspects such as free bike and board hire, fishing opportunities and deposit-free dvd and game hire. The premises is a great landscaping design in my opinion with lots of places to relax. Dorms are a bit small though but have fridges.

Really enjoyed my stay at Cape Byron Lodge and i would recommend others to stay. Hostel bus into town and free pancakes! Gotta love anything that is free!!

I got a night train from Sydney to Byron Bay few days ago. When i arrived there is the early morning. So... shuttle bus not running yet, nor the public one. And there's no one answering the free call at that time. So pretty desparate. Need to note for this. Otherwise, good!!
