Staff was very good, as well as the location. But a very small, cramped, and not very clean place.

A great little hostel... warm and inviting and close to town, I would definitely stay here again! Steve, who runs the place is very helpful and easy going :) it's quiet at night... and the beds are comfy. And has a common room where you can watch movies on a big screen tv, theres a decent kitchen with fresh baked bread for free in the morning! lovely!

A small and cosy hostel that was pretty comfortable. The owner was kind in letting us leave our baggage in the hostel for the whole day even though we had only booked our stay for the night before.

A really friendly hostel - more like staying with a mate.
Make sure you take up the opportunity of going out with Steve (host) to try some of the best, non-touristy pubs in Edinburgh - Great fun.
Good location too - very close to the bus station and 5 mins from the trains and airport bus.
Shops, restos and bars really close too.
Will return next time I'm north of the border!

We'd definately recommend this hostel. The manager was really nice and we felt at home. We especially appreciated the quiet location. It was very well equipped and comfortable.

Great little place. Good kitchen and the guy that runs it is a top bloke. Home baked bread in the morning is tasty as well. would come again for sure.

This place is small and a friendly, cosy atmosphere. Great kitchen facilities. Nice rooms but no lockers in the rooms. Bathrooms are very good. Recommend!
