It is nice but it lookes as if some people were living there and that made me feel stranger, and about the staff I must say they were all nice people and very helpfull, thanks

Is very good idea sleep in a church. I stayed in a private room, there was very confortable, hot and clean. There is a big and clean bathroom, but there is only one for all private rooms. My experience was positive.

Everything was fine, although the toilets were a bit dirty, and the water was too hot in the shower.
Personally I think it is important to improve the security because anyone can go in really easily.

Great atmosphere. A bit out of the way, but doable by hoof. The freedom given guests far surpasses other hostels in the Edinburgh local.

Nice hostel in an old church, close to Haymarket Station. I've had a 6 bed room for my own.

Stayed there 2 nights and it was just great. Had a quad room with my pals. Was really tidy and calm.
Only things are that there are by far not enough toilets and showers and that they are not necessarily on the same floor your room is. Wasn't a problem cos the hostel wasn't booked up but the other thing was that the heating wasn't working and thus, it was pretty cold in the room. Location is okay, but it is a bit off Union Street, which is where the party is ...
But all in all really ok.

Very friendly atmosphere and considerate guests. A bit chilly but then it is january and churches never were very warm anyway. :)
