the lifts were not working properly, which is fine but you couldnt walk up the stairs as the doors wouldnt open. Why is this an issue, surely you can be allowed to use the swipe card to get into your own floor????

Some rooms with no windows and bad aircon

The place is massive and has its own travel desk, rooftop bar and a night club right next to it which is awesome. The room i was in though was almost unbarably hot thou...like even at night in your jocks you are sweating, and it had no windows you can open which made for hot uncomfortable sleeping. If you get a room with air con windows it will be a good stay.

room was very hot and rushed the sheets changed but that was it not vacumed or any thing. it must have a good bar cos it about average with most onther stuff. but that said it did have great common areas really good feel

no air exchange in the room, and unable to open a window caused us a very unpleasant night in the sweltering heat!
for an extra 7 dollars we stayed in the Mercure Hotel down the road - what a bargain

Very loud, arriving late in the dark makes it kind of creepy to find in that alley. But all staff was excellent.

It was very disappointing because they didn't book me in until I came to check in even though I already made a booking, gave my credit card details and the deposit 1 or 2weeks before checking in. It was alright because they provided a room but the room was absolutely filthy and too hot!! The ventilating system was just terrible and it's not worth paying any money to stay there. There was no place even step in to the room and too much rubbish. My last 2 day stay in New Zeland was just awful.

the 4-bed-dorms dont have any windows and are very small! its too expensive compared to the other hostels!
