Probably the cleanest hostel I have stayed in. Hisu (Mr Hiroshima) is a very helpful, nice guy. Great alternative to staying in the centre of Hiroshima as the place is at the ferry terminal to Miyajima which most people visit on their stay to Hiroshima. So great, not to expensive places to eat around especially if you like local oysters. Would def stay there again.

The hostel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Literally 4 buildings from the ferry to Miyajima, very close and convenient to great food and convenient stores.

This was the best hostel of my travels from Tokyo to Nagasaki! It is on the water front over looking the island of Miyajima. My experience at the hostel felt like I was welcomed into a japenese home. Upon my arrival, I found out that I had switched directions and arrived one day too early for my scheduled booking, Hisa (owner), had room for me in private japenese style den, it was beautiful, warm and real experience of the culture.-continued

the best hostel i:ve stayed in ever, anywhere. the staff are amazing, the location is incredible we:ll definitley be back and i recommend it to anyone.

Really nice hostel, staff were great (manager came in and was chatting and showing me a bit of Kanji) Great location for a day trip to Miyajima island, only a ferry hop away, well worth it

This hostel is really close to the island which is great. It's clean and super fun! Hisa (the owner) is pretty much the nicest person I've ever met in my life. YOU NEED TO GO HERE! It made our Japan trip awesome.

these guys were SUPER nice. really made it fun for me to stay. perfect location right next to the ferry terminal. hisa, sachi and ayami are just getting this place started but i know they will succeed because they really have your interests at heart.
get the 2 day ferry plus ropeway plus tram pass for 2000 yen. it is worth it since the roundtrip on the ropeway to miyajima is 1800 yen alone.

Lots of fun - the owner is great, friendly, speaks great english, works hard to improve the hostel. Easy to make friends there. Just bring earplugs because it's easy to hear the other people in the sleeping area.
