very clean everywhere apart from i think the sheets on the bed and the duvet covers should be washed once slept on (as well as the envelope sheet). good number of places to sit but would have been nice if the tv had worked. the staff were really helpful with nu,mber of taxis and info of the local area. thank you!

Not the most fun hostel for young, single backpackers. No television to relax and watch the news after a day of activities.

Just like any other youth hostel but a place for stay to be close to shops for convenience. This isn't a place for a quiet and peaceful break, however,it was good for social interactions. A value for money just for a place to sleep after a skiing trip.

Absolutely perfect for my needs and at a respectable price. Nothing exceptional, but equally nothing to complain about.

On the website of hostelworld we booked a room of 4 beds, but we get a 6 bed rooms, shared with 2 old guys.
The door is closed at 12PM so every has to be at bed at noon. There's nobar, the pool table is locked after 11PM. So, If aviemore worth it, this hostel is the terribly funless.
However the Staf is great to give information on the good hikes to do.
