I would've appreciate clean sheets & kitchen.

I made a reservation on-line, but when I got there, It was just as if I was a walk-in. They charged me more than the price of the spot I reserved, and I had to pay that price in full, even though the on-line process had taken a deposit from my credit card.

The "247 reception" meant using phone upon arrival to wake up a slow, grumpy person who charged me more than the HW price. He forgot to give me a blanket, so I was too cold to sleep.

most of the residents are male, semi-permanent and addicts, just out of jail, andor mentally ill.
it is kind of the skid row of SLC despite excellent neighborhood.
creepy, v. unpleasant and not recommended
furniture falling apart, especially beds
maintenance and upkeep haphazard at best

This hostel was filthy, there were holes in the floors and the showers and p;umbing did not work. tHE MATTRESESSES AND BEDS WERE ALSO FILTHY, SOME HAD BED BUGS. The staff was rude and unprofessional, the guests were rude and I heard the police were there twic during my stay to break up fights. I was also told by another guest that mice and roaches were often seen here. I would definitely never recommend this hostel.

This is the most busted hostel I have ever stayed in. More like a half-way house that is falling apart. I was accosted by a smashed-drunk tenant who had serious emotionalpersonality issues 20 minutes into my stay. DON'T WASTE YOUR CASH.
