great price for location and free wifi and we got a private room for the same price. No lockers, not the safest place but at least we had our private room to lock our stuff. Very dingy and ghetto place but if you're only looking for a bed and don't have high expectations, this is the place. Owner is nice, pretty helpful and accomodating.

The staff was friendly, but barely competent. The location is central, but also not the best part of town. On the 5th floor. They set up a cot for me in an already crowed room so as to leave other rooms open for the possibility of groups coming in. I only recommend if you just need a place to sleep and nothing else.

The entrance & lift were a bit scary at first, but staff were very friendly, rooms and bedding were clean... enjoyed staying at Athens house.

The price is for a bed, not a clean bed or hot water for that matter. The owner is rude and moved other guests out of their rooms after paying without their permission. Just charged my card and i paid cash.

not customer oriented whatsoever. We stayed a week but were not there all the nights due to our other excursions planned after our booking. We came back one night to find that one of our beds had been given to another guest. Then the owner tried backtracking his sly move by telling us that he thought we were "one person and not two"

we enjoyed staying at the Athens House Hostel, it has its own atmosphere, which made the stay in Athens even more adventurous. I would recomend it to everyone, who is not demanding high standard. It has also great location; Omonia is the most interesting and authentic place in whole Athens...
