Great hostel. Clean, welcoming staff and not a bad happy hour. Staff take you out every night to local hotspots which is great

Well... nice place, good location, some staff are friendly and helpful, others give off that fake buddy buddy even though I'm 35 vibe. Bar area was social, much more than most hostels, but I guess my getting blitzed every night in Europe days have passed. At the age of 22, I felt a little old for the scene. If you're 18-20 and you can't drink in the states and that is your purpose for heading to Europe, this is the place for you.

Out of 5 hostels, each in different countries, Athens Backpackers was the best hostel I've stayed at. The most social, with the best staff, aimed at making sure you get what you want out of Athens! They served breakfast, offered cheap dinners, had a bar, played movies...for 20 Euros a night, it was pretty boss!! Great times.

A fantastic hostel, it is so clean and the hostel bar offers a far cheaper way to drink. the kitchen is great and the location is right near the acropolis. I would definately stay there again

This was a really good hostel - the staff were really friendly and even fixed me a meal after hours. I put excellent for the location as it was 2 minutes away from the metro so you can get anyway you want pretty quickley.
