The ryokan is in an excellent location. We loved so much Asakusa!! The neighbourhood is charming, with its small stores and very nice people. We felt at home in Asakusa.

Asakusa-asocksa is great area. good access to metro. close to large temple complex. abundance of good food. few foreigners. easy connection to narita.

It was the best room we stayed in so far in Japan (by 3 others). The room were clean, much space and had private bathroom. We could not have wished for more! The location was close enough to a JR station for us to only use our railpasses. And the staff spoke good english and were the the nicest we have met in Japan so far.

My stay was very pleasant. The staff were extremely helpful, the room was clean and the location good enough. It was excellent value for money and had other conveniences like an internet terminal and a coin operated laundry. Highly recommended.

It was a very clean place, smoke free and friendly staffs...I had a hard time finding it. It was my fault tho, I left my map at home!

We enjoyed our stay at Toukaisou. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. They were organized as tourism information office. It was a great convenience and we really appreciate it. Thank you.

Although previous guests had already complained about bedbugs, our room was unfortunately still infested!! My partner had about 50 bites, I had 30 or so bites. Great location, friendly staff, lots of bedbugs!!

The single rooms with the box spring and a futon on top are really uncomfortable to sleep on. It would be better to either add a real mattress, or just do the futon on the tatami. Oh and fix the dryer? Other than that great staff, wonderful location, convenient internet access, great amenities. Couldn't ask for more for the price!

excellent hostel! private rooms are awesome ( a little on a small side, but for this cheap), staff is SUPER friendly, they held my bags for 2 days while I was on a side trip. Rooms are clean, air conditioners, heater. Good location. And for what it costs .......wow... I think it is the most affordable room with bath in all Tokyo.
