We stayed at Aquarius during the floods and storm weather and so our stay there was definitely affected by these conditions. We were disappointed that the pool lining was almost totally removed and that there were no activities to keep us occupied during the poor weather. The staff, however, were friendly and the food was great

This is a great place to come and relax. It is quiet during the day and with other hostels surrounding it, you have the option to go to other places for drinks if you felt up for a little movement.

Pool was closedgreen! Pump broken, awaiting parts from NZ. Decent room. Party scene is down th beach at Smuggler's Cove. Aquarius is good place if you want a little more peace. They turn off Lobby music at 10:30 PM, but can still hear sounds from Lobby if staying on first floor. Shower head falling apart. had to keep holding it together. Not bad overall, but not stellar. P.S. booked tour to Sleeping Giant Orchids & Natadola Beach for about 6 hours including stop in Nadi at Curry Hous...More

A cheap place to stay but don't expect much. The rooms resemble prison cells with squeeky beds to match however they were reasonably clean and did have air-conditioning! The pool wasn't working while we were there (a problem with the pump and a part needed was not available on the island) and the beach was not great especially after a few days spent on the beautiful coral coast. $13.50 for the 15min taxi ride to the airport makes it a good place to stay for the night before those early flights...More

Really enjoyed my stay at Aquarius, we even decided to coma back after a few days away as we liked it so much. However our 2nd few days stay was ruined by the pool being out of use, with no mention of when to be fixed, no reduced room rate was offered due to this facility being out of order. Also a certain male bar staff was constantely rude and unhelpful. These things put a downer on our time of an otherwise fantastic hostel, with lovely staff who were always smiling and happy to help.

Had a good few days, staff helpful and easy acess to mana island. One point, showers in dorms outside were cold.... and im sure thats not the case in the rest of hotel as i used the shower upstairs!
