Great quiet hostel with nice courtyard gardens. Walking distance from most of the attractions in the historic centre.

In 35 years of staying at hostels all over the world this was one of the best stays over all. Koi ponds in a central garden area,bonsi trees as well as a nice homey feel. The staff are great and I saw the owner, Margareta go out of her way to assist a fellow who was trying to bring a motorcycle into Colombia.

The staff were lovely and helpful, not a party hostel but a place to have a real Columbian experience. The grounds are stunning.

This is not a party hostel. However it is THE place to stay if you want a relaxing quiet atmosphere.The staff is fabulous.One day my socks smelled so bad that I put them outside the dorm so as not to offend anyone. I forgot about them the next day and put on new ones. Later that day my socks had been washed, dried, folded and put on my bed. Everyone here will do whatever it takes to make your stay pleasant.

I'm 70 yrs old and this is the first time I have ever stayed in a hostel. I was totally charmed by the building, fell in love with the care provided by the staff and probably will never again stay in the four and five star hotels that I usually stay in. I didn't even mind not having a private bathroom, although it would have been nice.

Great place if you want to chill out. Friendly staff who care. Its a little bit like a monastery but in a good way.
