Staff was helpful and friendly, but the wall was thin, bathrooms were not very clean, and breakfast was miserable. Not very good value for money.

The staff were friendly and were very helpful with planning for events, sightseeing and tours in Rio. They made you feel like family and not like just another guest. The location was good (on a quiet street) - only a short metro ride to the downtown centre and the beaches.

I decent hostel in a good location and great staff. Lots of long stay people here which is a good sign. The room walls were thin so we ended up hearing the guys next to us retching all night after drinking. Not something that usually happens apparently.

This hostel was great. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly creative staff. The hostel has instruments and artwork over the walls creating a vibrant atmosphere (there is even an art studio attached to the hostel.) There are great social and cooking spaces and everthing is clean. I loved this hostel.

Great staff, especially Ruth is a great, friendly host. One point of interest are the showers, very often cold water, could be better.
