Alonzo was great - I called in to tell him I'd be arriving later than planned so that I wouldn't get locked out and he offered to pick me up from the airport instead. He then took me to get dinner and offered to take me to a supermarket, ATM or whatever I needed. It would have been good to stay there in the beginning of my trip because I heard him giving other guests great advice on car rentals, areas to visit, etc.

Alonzo spent hours with us helping us to plan our trip. He is a great guy, very hard working and honest.

The owneroperator, Alonso, was very friendly, extremely helpful and accomodating, and it was a pleasure to stay there. The suite in front is very nice, clean, and has a nice porch. Its a great place to stay in Alejuela if that is your destination, or a great layover for approaching the airport. Highly reccomended!!!

Alonso is probably the best host at any hostel I've been in around the world. He picked us up from the airport, showed us points of interest around the city and then took us to get beer! What more can you ask for in a host. Then cooked us breakfast in the morning and took us to the bus station. We love you Alonso!!!!!

A great place! I liked it so much I stayed longer than planned. The owner is very polite and he picks you up from the airport at no charge. I advise that you stay here if you are flying in or out of San Jose airport!

We were at the front of the house and there are roadworks at the moment trying to fix the bumpy road so if you\'re a light sleeper = earplugs.
The host made us feel welcome and has good local knowledge.
If you don\'t know whether to stay here or San Jose STAY HERE, nicer cleaner more to see safer etc etc etc
