very big hostel, bit far away from city.
I had to complain 3 times until they got me the room I booked

I think this must be the worst hostel I have stayed in so far. The noise was terrible...there was supposed to be a no noise policy after 11pm which no one took any notice of. The location was really bad...nearest shops were a good walk away.
The cleanliness was not good..the bathrooms were filthy.
Definately not recommended if you are staying in Townsville

I have backpacked all over the world and Iwould haveto say that this is not well managed. They allow the noise to continue all night. There were broken beer bottles and cigarette butts everywhere. They stuffed up my reservation. The kitchen was bereft of equipment to even make a coffee. No mugs. Not a good impression.
